Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! First of all, thank you to all the wonderful people who have already contributed to me reaching my first goal, I had no idea so many of you wanted to see me fall and break my face on the ice.

I'm giving myself a death warrant by participating in this charity event for PANCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network). As you may or may not know on Sat. Dec. 3rd I will be participating in a charity hockey game before the Ice Hogs (Blackhawks AHL team) take on the Abbotsford Flames. I'm going to put on equipment and pretend I can skate and try my best to not hurt myself too bad.

Every year, the Have A Skate With Bob Foundation hosts a charity hockey event with proceeds going to PANCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network). The Have A Skate With Bob Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to raising funding for pancreatic cancer research through our love of ice hockey.

If you would like to insure that I hurt myself on the ice, please donate, the more you give, the less I come home with. Afterward we'll be hanging around in Rockford for the IceHogs game, if you would like to come out and watch me pretend to skate and get a good look at the baby Hawks afterward let me know and we can probably make it happen if tickets are still available, otherwise, let your wallet show how much you'd like to see me fall on my ass.

Every dollar counts, so if you only have a dollar, that's great! You can then rest knowing that your money helped me fall to the ice or get checked into the boards during my first (and probably last) hockey game. If I raise enough money, I promise to get into a hockey fight with someone else who is a pylon on the ice.

Still not convinced to give? Well here is all the incentive you need, my brother thought it would be so hilarious to see this happen that not only did he donate, but he's going to go to the game and take pictures/video of me more than likely on the ice, crying and pretending I need a stretcher.
