Mengedi Bike 'n Bus
On July 21, a group of men from Engedi Church are going to be pedaling a bus-like contraption 18 miles to raise funds for the digging of wells in Zambia. Our church has a special relationship with the nation of Zambia, and we're excited as a team to be able to continue in the good work that has been started there.
Providing fresh drinking water helps to stop the spread of water borne illnesses, enables children to stay in school, and frees women up to start small businesses. The best part? When we dig wells in Zambia, we get to do it all in Jesus' name. Here's where you come in.
Each of our pedalers is seeking to raise $500 with a combined goal of $5,000. Check out the stats below, and you'll see that's enough to dig a new well for a school or village. Would you consider a gift to help us reach our goal?
- Each $100 provides a family with water for a generation.
- $3,000 rehabilitates a broken community well.
- $5,000 – $12,000 can fund a new well for a village or a school.
Thanks so much for your prayerful consideration, and we'd love for you to come out and cheer us on Saturday, July 21. You get all the details here.
Thank you!
