As we look back on ten years of National Fragile X Awareness Day, we reflect upon the successes achieved through spreading awareness in the Fragile X community and beyond. We know that these advancements would not be possible without the strong partnership we have with the Fragile X community.

Approximately 100,000 individuals in the United States have fragile X syndrome, the most common cause of inherited intellectual disability. Many of these cases are undiagnosed. More than 1 million people have or are at risk of developing a Fragile X-associated Disorder.
