Tyler lost his battle with a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor after a 2 1/2 year battle on March 13, 2007. He may be physically gone, but his spirit lives on in those who knew and loved this remarkable boy.

Our involvement with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation grew out of this tragedy, and has become a driving force in my life. The work these good people are doing is amazing, and there is much progress being made in the search for a cure to this devastating disease. The bottom line is that it takes money. If you throw enough money at any problem, a solution can be found.
