Dynasty Elite Emerald's Special Needs Team
In 2006, Rena’ & Neil Doniger started a competitive cheer & dance program in Manatee County in response to a need for a family oriented, child- focused gym in our community. Dynasty Elite, LLC has quickly grown to become recognized and respected, not only in the surrounding area, but also in the state of Florida and beyond, with Dynasty Elite’s Teams holding multiple National Championships.
The Doniger’s dedication to this sport and the children of this community is beyond measure, and they are reaching out to an exceptional segment of the community this year by starting Dynasty Elite’s first special needs competitive cheer team, The Emeralds. Members of the Emeralds have a range of mental and physical limitations but with the help of volunteer coaches, staff, therapists and Dynasty Elite athletes these children are able to receive the same joy and benefits from this sport as any able-bodied child would. It is difficult to express the feeling of satisfaction that comes from seeing these children shine and have a sense of pride and accomplishment from working hard while overcoming obstacles that most of us take for granted.
Dynasty Elite, LLC offers this program at no cost to participants. All costs are completely covered by Dynasty Elite, sponsors, donations and the work of Dynasty Elite’s non-profit Gemstone Booster Club. If you would like to help the Dynasty Elite Emeralds, the Gemstone Booster Club (EIN# 20-5626211-copy of nonprofit statement available upon request) is accepting donations of money, sponsorships, or raffle items to benefit the Emeralds Team participants.
