Hello - my name is Neil Rafferty and I am finally taking the advice I have often heard.  I am going to go jump in a lake; a cold lake on February 25.  I am sure that you are familiar with Special Olympics and the wonderful opportunities they provide to athletes.  In support of Special Olympics, I will take a polar plunge at Eagle Creek Resorvoir.  What I do is easy:  I get cold and wet and ask you to sponsor me by making a donation.  Hopefully, this site will make it easy and convenient for you to give.  I have set a modest goal of raising a total of $300.00.  If you already support Special Olympics, thank you.  If you cannot give now, that's o.k.  If you would like to sponsor me, please follow the directions on this site.  My thanks to you will be a cold short swim, but the real thanks comes to you by knowing that you are supporting a human expression reserved not only to those we watch on ESPN, but one that is granted to, and should be provided, to all.  Thank you, and I ask for your warm wishes.
