Update! The big Alexs Lemonade Stand/Go For Bald event was this last Saturday! We did extremely well; Tanya, myself and a 12 year old girl named Tia, who raised about $300 for donations to shave her head from family participated in the Go For Bald campaign. The head-shaving alone brought in nearly $2000. We also had three little girls; Taylor, Angel and Chloe who donated their braids to Locks for Love.

We had a Dunk Tank, face-painting and coloring contest along with the Lemonade. All proceeds have been included in the total Offline raised amount which is about $3200 right now!

A big thanks to everyone who helped in making this possible. I couldn't have done it without all my volunteers and of course the people who donated.

For anyone interested we have left over bracelets and tattoos still for sale. The bandanas and stickers were a big hit; we sold out of those in the first hour!

I have been involved with Alexs Lemonade since 2003. In the past my personal stands have not done as well as planned. So besides hosting a stand three dates so far this summer, I am also keeping this page open for donations so that the weather and being too busy can never be an excuse for not donating to pediatric cancer research.

During the big Lemonade event in July we have an inflatable waterslide for kids, Locks of Love donations and a Head Shaving Auction! Anyone who wants to participate should contact me as soon as possible. If head shaving isn't your thing, men can shave their legs or beards and anyone could die their hair a funky color. Details will come as the time gets closer. All proceeds go to pediatric cancer research!
