We have big plans for Lemonde Season 2009! Our goal amount has not changed this year, simply because we did not reach our target goal last year. I was a little disappointed with the turnout at last year's big event with the raffle! I guess not every year can be so succesfful at the Go For Bald campaign but hey- I'm always working on finding people to shave their head for the cause:-)
We are looking for someone to host the stand during Lemonde Days this year as we will be attending and volunteering at the original stand in Pennsylvania! We are really excited about this experience! If anyone is interested, I have all the stuff you will need, just need people to man the stand!

Plans are well underway for Lidgerwood's big lemonade event in July. We have high hopes this year because during Heritage Days (and our ALSF event) the All-School Reunion is happening the same day/weekend! Again, its Chloe's birthday that weekend and we will be celebrated all of that the same day!
Randy Roeder of Sound Solutions Entertainment has agreed to DJ for a reduced price for our event this year! Yeah! We are planning to host a "Lemonade Idol" contest as well as a Texas Hold Em tournament among other things!
There will be awards and prizes for both big events. I can't say officially until I have confirmation of course, but I am working on giving away a Nintendo Wii for the top prize of for the karaoke contest for the adults and a $100 gift certificate for Toys R Us for the child winner! For the Texas Hold Em tournament I am working on getting a trip (some sort of vacation getaway) for the winner of this event.
We will be doing several other things for the kids this year as well. As always the Dunk Tank will be here, we are looking at getting an inflatable castle or something equivalent, hopefully from Games Galore out of Fargo (again, still working on that).
Our float this year is going to be completely different! It is going to be the most amazing float in the parade!
Because there will be so many extra people around we need to make everything bigger and better this year to spread the word about ALSF. So if you want to help (shave your head, donate, volunteer your time) just give me a call or send me an email! THANKS!
