Annual 'Go For Bald' Fundraiser

Annual 'Go For Bald' Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, volunteered to sell them and who donated! So far this summer we have raised $1,363.57. To date our group has raised over $5,000 during the last four years! Our goal for the summer is $3,000 so if anyone would like to donate, you still have a chance. You can contact NeTia or visit www.firstgiving.com/netiarichards1 to donate securely online. ALSF volunteers reached the $20 million mark this summer, funding over 80 research programs since 2000 and have helped thousands of children who are diagnosed with childhood cancer! We look forward to seeing you next year. Congratulations to all the winners from this year’s ALSF raffle.

      ThANK YOU TO ALL!

Lemonade Days was ok...it was a beautiful day and all of the volunteers had a pretty good time. Thank you to everyone...we only managed to raise about $95; it was a slow day with nothing going on in this small lil town of ours.

We are gearing up for our big event in July. Heritage Days WILL bring more fun and excitement, just like last year. We are still long from our goal. But we will get there. We have raffle tickets available shortly.

Congrats to Jed Brecker who won the ALSF coloring contest...! We will continue to have face-painting, bracelet making, tattoos, coloring-contests and a Dunk Tank and will have a float in the parade! Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!  We need your help to make it a success like last year!

We just become a featured stand on the official ALSF website. Here is the link, scroll down, we are the second listed on the page! How cool is that? http://www.alexslemonade.org/Featured4.php Thanks for all the support!

Hey Everyone! Were back again for another season of Fundraising! Last year we did very well. Our goal was $1000 and we raised close to $3500! Props to all of us!!!! This year I'm raising the goal to $3000, hopefully we can meet and possibly even exceed that again!

Last year ALSF volunteers raised over $6 million by hosting lemonade stands and similar events like mine. Since its' inception volunteers have raised nearly $20 million for pediatric cancer research. In doing this, just my team of volunteers has provided opportunities for various research grants in order to find a cure.

As I did last year, I will update the site as necesary, giving out more information on the details of the events coming up this summer. If you know of anyone who wants to give up their hair, money or time send them my way please.

Email the page to anyone you know, you can get a widget to paste onto your blog or websites too. This page is also linked to Facebook, so you can check it out there as well.

Pass this on to everyone you know and for those that aren't familiar with ALSF and what I have been doing visit the main site at www.alexslemonade.org!

Always remember, as Alex said "When life gives u lemons, make Lemonade!"

Update! Hey everyone, we have 3 official dates so far this summer and they are Saturday May 10th @ my aunt Tami's auction, Saturday June 7th, for National Lemonade Days & our big Go For Bald event July 26th, also during Heritage Days! I have a few potential head shavers in the works right now. Hopefully we can get them to come out to the stands and "market" their heads!

Also, just got in some more merchandise for the upcoming stands, so if anyone is interested please let me know! We are getting soooo anxious to start this year we can hardly wait.

We have some new ideas to make the stands more exciting too. We will offer visitors a chance to make their own bead bracelets, have face painting and a few other things too! Hope we can see a lot of people out this year! Thanks for the Support!
