Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
The 2011-2012 academic year will be remembered as a year of new beginnings for New Hope: a new location in Boxford that has given us bright, sun-filled spaces, classrooms that allow twelve high schoolers plenty of room to move and breathe, and an office triple the size of our former (very claustrophobic) one. We will soon have a new leadership model, too, of course! As of January 1, I will hand over my position as Executive Director of New Hope to a new Headmaster and Assistant Headmaster.
What do these “new beginnings” have to do with fundraising and with our Annual Fund in particular? Additional funds give us the confidence and resources to move in new directions: e.g., our new location, new offerings for all ages, and new positions which will more effectively distribute the ever-increasing workload of running New Hope.
Last year, our Annual Fund and first-ever Jogathon together raised over $50,000 of additional revenue for New Hope! This was a huge encouragement and a testimony to the strength and sustainability of our organization. If you contributed to our Annual Fund last year or sponsored one of our Jogathon “runners,” we want to thank you for your part in making these new beginnings possible. In addition to a new location and new leadership model, your gifts made it possible to increase our financial aid by 50% over previous years, giving fourteen students a chance to join or continue with our New Hope community. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to help these families.
Our hope, of course, is that you will make a gift to New Hope once again, or perhaps for the first time. Our difficult economy continues to be a challenge for all of us; but as I prepare to leave my position as Director of New Hope and reflect on God’s kind provision over the past 12 years, I am confident that He will continue to bless New Hope so that we can, in turn, be a blessing to many homeschooling families.
If New Hope has been a blessing to your family, we ask that you consider making a donation so others may know that blessing as well. All gifts, large or small, will help us continue this wonderful work.
Thank you once again for your faithful support and encouragement during my years at New Hope. I look forward to seeing what God has in store for this work that has meant so much to so many homeschooling families.
Wishing you a richer knowledge of His grace and goodness,
Joan H. Smith
