Hey everyone, thank you for visiting my page! As you may know, in June of 2003, I received a kidney transplant. The transplant gave me new energy and a second chance at life. As part of a celebration of this gift, every other year I participate in the U.S. Transplant Games.
The U.S. Transplant Games are an olympic style event where people who have had kidney, heart, liver, lung, or bone marrow transplants. The athletes participates in a variety of sports such as basketball, volleyball, bowling, track & field, swimming, cycling, and others.
I will be going with Team Alabma, to compete with teams from all 50 states. I will be competing in basketball, volleyball, badminton, and bowling. I'm not expecting to win any medals this year, but I am expecting to do my best and have an amazing time while doing it.
In case you haven't figured it out by now, I am asking for your support in whatever way you can give it. I welcome any donation large or small. I would also welcome your emails and notes cheering me on as I prepare for the Games in July. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Of course, checks are acceptable too and can be made to the NKF of Alabama (501C3 Charity) and mailed to my home address which is: 208 BelleMeade St. SW, Hartselle, Alabama 35640

Thank you so much for all of your help and support!
