Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!  This is a first for us - but we believe in the fight against Lupus, and wanted to do our part this year to help someone, and her family, that is very special to us!

Our friends, Frank and Christine, are an inspiration to anyone who meets them.  They are proof that when you marry your best friend - it shows! 

Christine has Lupus and we've seen her take a negative and not only turn it into a positive....but to keep going forward and not let anything stop her or her efforts!  She is a fighter, advocate, and someone who will one day do her part in finding a cure for this illness!

Christine was diagnosed with Lupus over 15 years ago. Lupus affects the immune system so that it is unable to distinguish the body’s own cells and tissues from foreign matter. The immune system may attack different parts of the body causing inflammation, injury and/or pain.  Lupus affects 1 out of every 185 Americans, and there is currently no cure.

Christine and her family have been walking for 13 years in the walk along for Lupus on Long Island. Last year her team raised close to $10,000.... We want to help them raise money - and have the best year yet!
