Please join me this holiday season in supporting our animal friends. Most of you know that animal rights is a passion of mine. On a regular basis, I see both animals who are cared for and those who are grossly neglected. Since the decline in our economy, many animals have been abandoned or surrendered to shelters because their families can no longer care for them. Additionally, dog fighting has increased due to the exposure it has been given thanks to Michael Vick. And the FDA & USDA continuously ignore the deplorable conditions and cruel treatment of farm animals, which impacts our food supply and contaminates our environment (you do not want to know where all the cow and chicken poop ends up).
