I used to work for SFWAR, and now continue my involvement as a volunteer on the hotline and peer counselor. SFWAR provides resources, support, advocacy and education to strengthen the work of all individuals, and communities in San Francisco that are responding to, healing from, and struggling to end sexual violence.

In 10 days, I’ll be saying NO to sexual violence. 1 out of 4 women and 1 out of 11 men are raped every year.  Rape affects not only the survivors but their entire communities. I believe that we can build a world of justice, safety, and compassion, but only if we take a stand against violence together.  And I’m asking you, right now, to stand with me.
