I've frequently blogged about my love for Children's HopeChest. As an orphan myself, their mission is tremendously important to me. What many of you may not realize is that my professional background is in counseling. Specifically, I specialized in trauma and sexual abuse counseling. So when Tom Davis posted on the HopeChest site that they were in need of funding to open a counseling room for Moldovan girls rescued from the sex trade, I knew this was our opportunity to help. 

When I think of sex trafficking, it seems so big and so scary that I feel powerless. I'm excited to think that together we can be strong enough to fight this. $3,000 seems like a HUGE amount to me, but we are trusting God to do it and are praying that you will consider donating (in any ammount) to this cause.
