Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I've been planning to donate my hair to Locks of Love for quite some time now, but a friend's firstgiving page made me realize i can give money along with my hair. The haircut & donation is planned for early June & I will post pictures, of course. Thank you for being a part of this.

This page is for three people:

My friend Justin Van Hoy, who is currently in chemo - he's an amazing artist, always has the coolest books & new music every time I see him, & he's probably the tallest person I know, especially when he's standing next to Holly. :)

My Godmomma Carol Guiles, who passed away due to cancer a few years ago. She was so full of laughter and life, and not only did she teach a young aspiring writer & actress the beauty of words, but she also taught me her "ya-ya"-esque philosophy on life: "marry a man who'll put diamonds on your fingers and rings on your toes." Carol, I wish I could take you out for martinis.

My friends' friend Peyton Dergay, who passed away before I could meet her, but I feel like I know her somehow. I know that we would've been great friends. She passed away from the same rare form of cancer as Brett Gosnell, whose charity you're donating to, if you donate on my page. It's one of the least funded & least researched cancers, so your money can do a lot of good. I'll leave you with some inspirational words from Brett: "I challenge you to adopt a new goal, a new way of life for yourself. Put helping, caring about, and serving others at the center of all that you do – not just for today or tomorrow but for the remainder of your life. I ask you to look for ways in which to make a difference in the lives of others, regardless of who they are or where you find them."
