NLPOA's National Law Enforcement Museum Page
A Message from the NLPOA National Board of Directors
Welcome to the National Latino Peace Officers Association (NLPOA) on-line fundraising page in support of the National Law Enforcement Museum. The NLPOA has worked closely with the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund since its inception and believes strongly in their work and service to the law enforcement community. The NLPOA was instrumental in raising funds for the Memorial and considers this Museum equally as important to the national Latino law enforcement community.
NLPOA feels strongly that we must honor the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice to keep our communities safe. As a Museum partner the NLPOA has set a minimum goal of raising $100,000.00 for the Museum campaign, which we hope we will substantially exceed. This donation will allow The NLPOA to be a Major Donor to the Museum and join over 40 law enforcement associations who have donated $100,000 or more to the National Museum.
The NLPOA Executive Board of Directors made a special offer to its members and friends who support our efforts by making a donation to the National Law Enforcement Museum. For each $20.00 donation that was made through this www.firstgiving.com/nlpoa web page, each donor received a ticket to be entered in an opportunity drawing for a family vacation to Disneyland in beautiful Anaheim, California. The winning prize which included four (4) tickets to the Disneyland Theme Park donated by Glen Marinelli from Los Angeles CA , a night stay at a Disneyland area hotel donated by the Menage Hotel in Anaheim and $50 towards car rental donated by the NLPOA Los Angeles Chapter. The winner was drawn at the NLPOA 2011 Convention in Atlantic City and we are proud to announce that the Wichita Kansas Chapter was our winner. Congratulations and thank you for your donation!!
