Hello everyone,

Expanding Lives is an organization that is near and dear to my heart-- this is my second year working with them and here are just a few of many things I've learned:

 

* It doesn't matter what language you speak-- you can become friends with new people who may not speak the same language as you. People are people. We all find a way to be related somehow.

 

* There are so many things I can do as a high school student to help people who are in need-- young people who are my age, who just want the same things that I want: a good education and support system. I think that we as a world owe it to each other to make sure that everyone gets these two basic needs, especially those less privileged than us in West Africa.

 

So please, spread the word. Expand Lives. Assist me in making a difference in such a small but prominent part of the world.
