I have been sponsoring Naidelin since 2006 when she had just turned 4. 

I thought I was doing a great thing.  I sent  her packages and Children International will send me pictures of the items received.  She was always wearing her best cloth, then one day I received a picture of her and her family in front of her house and realized I had to do more for this family to get them just to  the bare minimum. As you can see in the Flickr pictures, and press "Set" her family life has improve some but they are still in need of much more.  It's difficult to improve much when your average salary is low and you have to feed a family of 5. 

Naidelin's mom is willing to start a small business selling shoes out of her own house and to other communities on weekends.  She's very enthusiastic about it because she can take care of the children and generate needed income for the family. Starting a small business will not only improve their income but will raise their self-esteem.
