Hi and thank you for visiting my fundraising page. 

My name is Mario and this May I'm walking across the United States to raise money for St.Jude Children's Research Hospital. 

Many of us at one time had a dream of becoming an astronaut, rockstar, professional athlete, movie star, fire fighter, doctor, scientist, etc. Some have been fortunate enough to have those dreams come true. One of my dreams is help places like St.Jude find cures for catastrophic illnesses so that children and adolescents can one day see their own dreams come true.

I've personally have never been afflicted with a serious illness, however when I was growing up my family was poor and people not only opened their hearts, they also opened up their wallets. There were many holidays where we recieved food and other items from donors. I know what it's like having to cope with stressful life events as a family and now that I have the opportunity to give back I want to take advantage of it.
