Every year the New York Says Thank You Foundation organizes a disaster struck community rebuild project. We send volunteers from the FDNY and New York City to bring life and hope to these devestated communities. Please help me ADOPT two of these volunteers to rebuild this year's site in Little Sioux, Iowa.
On June 11, 2008 an F3 tornado tore through the Little Sioux Scout Camp northeast of Omaha killing four boys and injuring dozens participating in an Eagle Scout leadership training weekend. In the devastating aftermath, stories of incredible heroism arose from the destruction as children rescued children, pulling one another from the rubble while performing life-saving first aid.
Anything you are able to give or forward to someone who might be able to help is welcome. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
With ALL my thanks and heart - I say "THANK YOU" for helping me,
