2011 BellRunners/Mercedes Marathon (Formerly Partners In Training)
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. As many of you may already know I gave birth to two amazing little boys (Jake and Owen) on December 11, 2010. Litte O as we like to call him was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at the hospital and while his diagnosis was a surprise we could not be more blessed to have this Wonderful Baby boy in our life. From Day One, Owen was determined to keep up with his twin brother Jake and big sister Madalyn and has not stopped for a minute. While things may come a little bit tougher for him, he welcomes his challenges with a smile on his face and a contagious laugh! Owen has brought me so much happiness over the past year and that is why I am so excited to be training for the 2012 Mercedes Half Marathon in honor of him.
While I was still in the hospital after giving birth to the twins, I received a visit from an Amazing women named Betty Bell, she told my husband and I about all of the services and early intervention programs the Bell Center could offer our baby. Owen started at the Bell Center at 6 weeks where he works with speech, physical, and occupational therapists, special educators, a nutritionist, and so many more. We see the impact that this Center has on our child and so many children across Alabama. I can't say enough good things about The Bell Center and the help and guidance it has provided my husband and I with. This is why I am asking your help in reaching my goal and supporting the Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -h - and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
