Hello Everyone!
First of all, I want to thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I appreciate your time and support.
As a school, Chelsea will be participating in the Walk of Hope for the third year. We walk to honor a strong, courageous student, Sean. He, sadly, lost his battle with cancer while in the fifth grade. He demonstrated strength and hope. He fought his battle while holding his head high.
I also Walk and spend time on the Community Board at the Mokena Cancer Support Center to honor my brother, Kevin. He has inspired me to help others with cancer. He has been my angel that I have looked up to many times since his passing. He has given me strength through life since 2006. Through him I have learned many lessons in life. I am fortunate to have my health, so I want to help those who need the help and support. I may be busy teaching in this wonderful district, but I am not too busy for my volunteer work at the Center.
Once I accomplish something with the Center, my heart seems to feel bigger. I know I have done something good for another person who is less fortunate. Without the Center, these people and their families would have no where to go. They were there for my family and me. Now it's time to return that favor.
As you can see, your donation will make a difference in the lives of people fighting cancer and their families. The programs and resources the Center offers are out of this world. Let's help increase the possibilites!
The thanks I give is not enough for helping and supporting this cause. Your donation will not only make me feel proud, but support hundreds of people who need you.
My goal this year is to surpass last year's donations! TEAM Chelsea - Let's do it!
Many thanks....from my heart,
Pamela
