Well, this marriage equality work is exhausting.  Just look!  But we won't stop until every loving couple who wants to marry can...

So this Sunday, September 26th, we will be marching across the Golden Gate Bridge in support of Marriage Equality USA (a national non-profit organization working in support of the freedom to marry).  We'd like you to sponsor our walk or even better, join us at Crissy Field at 9:30am and march with us. 

We know there are other organizations working to support the freedom to marry, but we believe Marriage Equality USA is the most effective at creating change - so much so that we volunteer our personal time to support this organization. 

As the case moves through the federal courts to overturn Proposition 8, we need to build support with the court of public opinion. Marriage Equality USA is doing just that by supporting our over 35 county chapters who are personally empowered to build support for marriage equality in the local communities where they live.  Also when Chief Justice Vaughn Walker issued his decision overturning Proposition 8, we were providing local media with names of same-sex couples in their communities who could share their personal stories on why they wanted to marry, thereby putting a local, human face on this social justice issue.
