This is the 9th year for "Team Re/Max" to participate in the Alabama Kidney Foundation 2012 Walk-a-Thon on Sat. May 5th 2012 at Homewood High School's Waldrop Statium. The Foundation provides financial assistance, education and support programs to thousands of kidney patients in Alabama each year.

The event's proceeds directly benefit patients who must choose between paying for medication and paying their rent, and who struggle with how to get to and from their more than 14 medical appointments a month. The AKF never charges a penny for it's programs and services and is Alabama's only state based organization dedicated to helping those less fortunate kidney patients in our state.
