This is Amber--the 46th cat I fostered for RBARI.  Behind her will be other fosters: kittens and cats; feral, or shy, or just needing a quiet place to heal, or to grow until they reach adoptable age.  (Amber, as you can see, didn't need growing!)

I am proud to be a part of the community that is RBARI.  Here we do whatever it takes for our animals until they find forever homes.  One cat recently went home after taking refuge at RBARI for nine years. . . .

That kind of commitment costs.  RBARI receives no local, state, or federal funds. We must raise every penny for every animal's care.  The normal stay is a lot shorter than nine years--but each animal still goes through a lot of pennies.
