Patient Aid Fundraising
Welcome to the 1st Annual Team - "Life Wants You Back"
Tim Helmeke, John Fischbach and Mike Welte, employees at Hazelden Plymouth, are lacing up their running shoes for the Twin Cities Marathon on October 7, 2012 to raise money for Youth Patient Aid at Hazelden. Patient aid is critical to help ensure chemical dependency treatment is available to those who desperately seek it, but do not have the means to fully pay for it.
The average cost of residential treatment is roughly $1,000.00 per day. Our goal is to raise $10,000. 100% of this money will be donated to the Evan Keating Endowed Fund for Youth Patient Aid, a fund established to honor the memory of Evan Keating, a dear friend and former Hazelden staff member. The earnings from this fund will provide a regular stream of income for the youth patient aid fund to help families pay for their child's treatment experience.
Hazelden Plymouth is currently expanding services to include outpatient programming, female extended care, additional family programs and mental health services, because the need is so great. Treatment is life changing AND life-saving! Please join us on our journey to help create a world free from addiction!
