Patricia Simone's Fundraising Page

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
As amember of the Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA) Board of Directors, I am raising money to benefit 23,620 athletes with intellectual disabilities who train and compete in 23 Olympic-type sports in over 500 competitions, meets or tournaments held each year including 5 State Games. The Special Olympics Movement transforms communities by inspiring people to open their minds, to accept and include people with intellectual disabilities, celebrating differences among all people…recognizing and respecting the similarities we all share.

Your donation will go a long way towards helping the athletes be the best they can be, because there is no cost to the athlete or their family to participate at any level - county, area (multiple counties) State, regional, national or World. Special Olympics teaches us that is not important whether you win or lose but that one has the opportunity to TRY. Focus is on their ABILITIES instead of their disabilities! Skills learned on the playing field carrying over into all aspects of life.
"Be A Fan" of empowerment, acceptance, courage, joy and give a tax-deductible donation to help spread the message and reach more potential athletes.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
