2009 will be our 14th consecutive event. Despite our best efforts and many very close misses we have yet to win this great event. In 2008 we made a mistake on one control that cost us 20km but somehow we still managed to come 3rd.

In 2008 we were 4th highest fundraisers with over £27,000! The event itself raised 1 million US dollars. With the recent troubles in Kenya we need the money more than ever. The fence will be completed by the end of 2008 but we now need to build up an 8 million US dollar trust fund so that the fence can be maintained indefinitely
