Hello Friends,

I'm reaching out to ask you if you would please support me in raising money to help the Washington Humane Society continue all the great and important work they do to help care for about 20,000 animals each year, as well as protect animals against cruelty and neglect. 

I'm running the Marine Corp. 10k this fall  to help WHS continue the amazing work that they provide for  animals of the District. As part of my commitment to be on the Washington Humane Society's team, I have promised to raise at least $1,000 by September 30th, 2009. I'm asking for your support. I know these are challenging times, but whatever you can donate is greatly appreciated, and could make all the difference to a dog, cat or other animal friend that really needs our help.
