Greetings Family and Friends,

As you know, I just completed my first year of "singing with the gays" aka The New York City Gay Men’s Chorus (NYCGMC).  This experience has touched my life.
 
As the NYCGMC plans the start of our 30th season we find ourselves, like many non-profit organizations, needing help.  I have been asked to head a team of 20 individuals who will mount our current fundraising campaign.  Our goal is to raise $40,000 by August 30th.  If that goal is accomplished, an anonymous group of individuals will donate an additional $20,000.
 
I stand by the NYCGMC 100%.  I have seen how our outreach programs add priceless contributions to the communities we visit and I know that our performances at Corporate Diversity Training Programs have made a difference to all that attend.
 
Our mission has always been to help the LBGT community.  From the onset of AIDS to current struggles for equality we have been raising our voices, and money, to lend a hand.  I believe the LBGT community will be knocking down barriers for years to come.  I also believe the NYCGMC will be around, joyously singing as each of those barriers fall. Right now, however, we need a little help to keep that mission alive.
