Description: The Merrimack Valley Food Bank is a non-profit organization that collects, stores and distributes perishable and non-perishable food to emergency feeding programs in the Greater Lowell, Merrimack Valley and North Shore areas of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.

Mission: The mission of our Food Bank is to help meet a person's most profound need for adequate nutrition and freedom from hunger. Only through cooperative efforts can society initiate change, develop strategies to alleviate hunger and work toward improving the quality of life for all people. Our overall goal remains and that is the elimination of hunger in the areas we serve.
