Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! As some of you may know my younger brother Timothy drowned 3 years ago on Fathers day, a week  latter he was declared brain dead from complications of  the drowning .

We decided to donate his organs and tissue knowing Timothy would want that. Timothy's gift saved several life's including Jim Rivard, who received his heart. Through this experience I became aware of what a beautiful gift organ donation is. I also have come to realize the tremendous need for people to register as organ donors.

Donate Life California is the organization my family dealt with when the decision was made to donate Timothy's organs and tissue. I can not say enough about this organization and what they do, and how important they are! On October 18th 2009 I will be running in the Denver Marathon to raise money for Donate life California and to raise timgavelife.comawarness of the importance of organ donation. It will be my first marathon and I am doing it in memory of Timothy.

I know with the economy the way it is times are tuff,   I am still hoping you can make a small donation (of course large ones are gladly accepted as well) to Donate Life California. I appreciate anything you can give in support of Donate Life California. I hope to raise $10,000.00 and I know it is a lofty goal and will not be easy, but running  my first marathon won't be either.
