My name is Romeo, RESCUE is my alma mater -- thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the RESCUE TEAM!
Were it not for RESCUE, I would not be here... not even alive. Volunteers from RESCUE plucked me from the Maricopa County Animal Shelter in Phoenix when I had very little time left - I was on the list for euthanasia. I was not feeling very well, sick with a respiratory infection.
RESCUE whisked me to a foster home where they took great care of me and I got better. Once I was ready for adoption, my Mom spotted me on the RESCUE web site - all the way in Los Angeles. In March 2005, she came to take me home! I am a very lucky boy and have a great life sharing my home with two other white cats - Merlin and Serafina.
More animals than ever are being dumped at the Maricopa County Animal Shelters, which means that more than ever are losing their lives each and every day. More than 100 cats and dogs are euthanized every single day. RESCUE is the very last hope for many of them. Times are tough... more animals needing help and less donations coming in mean more never make it out like I did!!
If all my friends and maybe some of their friends too... can support a little bit -- that can add up to a whole LOT!!
If you can help by donating $20, $10 or even $5 and ask 10 freinds to do the same, a village will be created that by coming together will save lives.
Just giving up a few lattes will equal help... if 50 people donate just $10, or 20 people donate $5 and just four of their friends donate $5 too... TEAM WHITE CAT's goal to support RESCUE's annual Bowlarama will be realized!!!!!!!!

RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. Unlike organizations such as the Arizona Humane Society or Animal Care and Control, RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer driven. Our focus is euthanasia list rescue from our county shelters. We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 9,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. Maricopa County has one of the highest euthanasia rates per capital in the country, so we have much work to do on behalf of these animals. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end euthanasia. For example, you can become volunteer, adopt or donate.
