Feeding Hungry Children and Families

Over 1 BILLION people in the world are hungry!  Right here in our own country, 49 million Americans go hungry, including 16 million children. We have to do something about this. We can't let one in four US children suffer!

Once again, I am organizing the Greater Lafayette Hunger Hike. Always on the third Sunday in September, Hunger Hike 2011 is on September 18, and I hope you will support me. I'm excited to be a part of this annual effort which raises funds for three anti-hunger programs in my community: Lafayette Urban Ministry, Food Finders Food Bank, and St. Tom's Haiti Ministry.

My personal goal is to raise $2,000, but any amount you can give will help! Please dig deep and donate to me online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. All donations are tax-deductible.
