Children are my passion - my kids and other people's.  Knowing that 36 million Americans go hungry, including 13 million children, I decided to do something about it. I'm helping organize the 2008 Greater Lafayette Hunger Hike on September 21, and I hope you will support me. This annual effort raises funds for three anti-hunger programs in my community: Lafayette Urban Ministry, Food Finders Food Bank, and St. Thomas Aquinas Haiti Project.

The Hunger Hike hopes to raise $70,000 this year!  My personal goal is to raise $1,000, but any amount you can give will help! Please dig deep and donate to this worthy cause.
