Friends and Family,

One of my life goals has been to run the Chicago Marathon. I have done many races but until now they have been for my own self -fullfillment. This time I am choosing to make every mile count for others. Through team World Vision we can make a difference for those in poverty. World Vision works to tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities. Just $1 takes care of a child's needs for a whole day! Do you see how even a small donation can make a huge difference in the life of a child. World Vision's team goal is 1.5 million dollars. I can't even imagine the impact that can have! It's so exciting.

Rick and I have had a sponsor child through World Vision since 1995 becasue we believe so much in what they do. You can support my efforts through Team World Vision by making a one-time tax-deductible donation.

Every step I take I will have each of you in mind who choose to make a difference in someone else's life. If you can not make a monetary contribtion then please pray for me and the World Vision team of runners but especially for those people's lives that will be impacted by what we are doing.
