Our 2010 Climb to CureDuchenne is well underway.  We had such an overwhelming interest and support for last years climb, that we are doing it again.  

This year we have several teams participating in climbs throughout the country.  I am captaining Hawken's Heros.  Our team is climbing Mt. Shasta (14,104 ft) in Northern California June 18th and 19th, Father's Day Weekend!  

 

I am humbled and honored to once again have such amazing people join our climbing team.  

 

Although we did not sign up for this adversity or ever plan this journey in life, we are steadfastly, embracing the challenge and hopefully making a difference.  

Climbing a mountain has several symbolic parallels.  As we reach the peak of Mt. Shasta, I will be praying that we ultimately summit this devastating peak of Duchenne.
