Last year I had some friends train for the Chicago marathon. Another friend even said, "I don't think I'll run the marathon, but it is one of my favorite events to go watch in all of Chicago". When I watched my friends and all the other runners, I too was absolutely stunned, inspired and stirred in my soul by the amazing turn out of supporters and how people all along the route cheer wildly for complete strangers. I was proud to be a Chicagoan and wanted to be in the middle of it this year by running the race. 

So I have been training for my first marathon and have signed on to raise money for Inspiration Corporation while I run. Inspiration Corporation is a great organization assisting the homeless in Chicago. Instead of sending out multiple emails and requests throughout the summer for support, I am making one request now and then one follow up a little later before the race. That way its a simple decision to make within this month and decide whether you would like to support Inspiration Coporation. The race is 26.2 miles so donate by mile, one lump sum, or really get me going by donating by training mile... Many thanks to all of you who have supported me and Inspiration Corporation.
