Thank you for taking the time to check out my page!  Those of you who know me know that I have never run a half marathon before!  Not even close!    So, why in the world would I decide, at 43, to run a half marathon?!

Well, first of all, because I can.  Sure it will be difficult and will require LOTS of training but I am healthy and able to do it.  Many people, including the children that I'm running for, can only dream of doing such a thing.  Many of these children would give anything to get up and run around like other kids but they are unable to do so.  If by running this race I can raise enough money to help just one of these beautiful children  be able to accomplish their dreams then I will have succeeded!
