Paul and I discuss time and time again about how we are so lucky to have the simple pleasures of clean water, fresh food, good times and restful nights in our wonderful house. Because of these gifts, and in recognition of the simple pleasures we most often take for granted, we recognize the need to share our gifts with others. We feel empowered us to help provide clean water to those who do not even have this most basic life necessity. To that end, we have set a goal to save money that would help to fund the building of a well. All of our donations reflect our thankfulness and overwhelming gratefulness we feel for you, the Westrick and Agner familes and friends, and the good fortune that we all share.

We have chosen to do this with the help of World Vision. It is an organization that supports children, women and communities, and through which we have also been sponsoring a little boy in Mexico, for the past 8 years. They focus on providing hope to those impoverished communities who need support from people like us.

Did you know …? - Less than one-third of Haiti's population has access to clean drinking water and sanitation. - A child dies every 15 seconds due to water-related illnesses. - More than 1 billion children suffer a lack of proper nutrition, safe drinking water, decent sanitation facilities, health-care services, shelter, education and information.
