Hello, on March 24th I'll be skiing for Maine Handicapped Skiing.  They have changed their name to Maine Adaptive Sports, but it's the same great organization.

Please help me to help those less fortunate than ourselves.  Anyone, not just residence of Maine with a certified disability, is eligible to benefit from this fabulous program.  Children, Adults and Disabled Veterans are fitted to equipment, given lift tickets and are helped by as many qualified volunteers as necessary.  What a great program!  Some of these people might otherwise be housebound, yet they are given the freedom of movement on the snow, on a bike, or in a kayak.

All this and more is offered FREE OF CHARGE to the participant.  In fact, it's the only free adaptive ski program in the US.
