Ryley is a 4-year-old Bichon mix who was rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri where he spent his life in a small cage. His only purpose - breeding.

He was never handled kindly, spoken to lovingly or fed a nutitional diet.

He never received vet care and has been diagnosed with heartworm.

NEVER FEAR! His condition is treatable and Ryley is responding well to his medication. Like all dogs should, he will need to receive his heartworm pill every month for the rest of his life.

Ryley's tail is wagging for the first time when he sees humans, he cannot believe his is allowed to run in wide open spaces and lay on a sofa. Ryley cannot stop smiling.
