Thank you for visiting my Bird-a-thon fundraising page.

I'm participating in the Mass Audubon Bird-a-thon 2011, a 24-hour birding event during which my team will count as many Massachusetts bird species as we can, raising money for important conservation programs. 

In addition to providing safe habitats for our feathered friends, the money I raise will support other important conservation efforts at The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, by funding programs that protect stranded sea turtles, horseshoe crabs, local oysters reefs, and Diamondback Terrapins -- like the adorable hatchling I'm holding in the photo.  (That was an amazing experience!) 

The funds my team raises will also help to connect children and adults with nature through the Sanctuary's many quality education programs.
