Calling all Rowers!
Through a partnership with LPJ Chicago and Recovery on Water (R.O.W), we are pleased to announce the St. Pat’s Race for Recovery on Saturday, March 17th. After a leisurely row from LPJ’s boathouse to enjoy the green river festivities downtown, participants will engage in a short sprint race back to the boathouse. Medals, bragging rights, and possibly a free drink for the winning boat are all in the works.
Make a big splash in the fight against breast cancer, while supporting rowing on the Chicago River. A portion of the proceeds from the entry fee will benefit R.O.W’s ongoing initiatives and will honor the late First Lady of Chicago, Maggie Daley.
In order to schedule line-ups, registration will close on Friday, March 9th.
There will be no walk-in registrations available.
Date: Saturday, March 17th
Time: 8:00 a.m. meet at boathouse; Chicago River is dyed at 10:00 a.m.
