Out of the Ashes $20,000 Challenge Grant
With your help, we met the initial matching grant of $10,000 and are now working on raising funds for an additional $10,000 matching grant provided by our generous anonymous donor, who has increased their pledge to help us raise funds now matched up to a total gift of $20,000!
We have until Dec 31 to raise the funds - and appreciate our community's support as we match your generous gifts with funds from our extended Challenge Grant!
On August 29, 2013, The Albany Damien Center was devastated by a fire that destroyed their building and all of the contents.
Through the generosity an anonymous donor, the Center has received a $20,000 challenge grant to help increase donor contributions - and help the Albany Damien Center rebuild to provide our life-saving programs to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS in our community.
Until Dec 31, 2013, every dollar you donate to help the Damien Center rise from the ashes will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $20,000.
With your help - the Albany Damien Center WILL return stronger than the fire as a vital resource in our local community.
You may donate here or send your check payable to Albany Damien Center Challenge and mail to 12 South Lake Ave, Albany, NY 12203.
Thank you for partnering with us to improve the lives of individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. We sincerely appreciate your support!
