I am running the 2009 Boston Marathon as part of the Samaritans team. The Samaritans is a non-profit organization dedicated to “alleviating distress, isolation, despair and suicidal feelings 24-hours a day; educating the public about suicide prevention; and reducing the stigma associated with suicide.” 

Over the past year, I've come to see what an amazing organization this is, and I am proud to be part ot the Samaritans' Boston Marathon team. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
