Thank you for visiting Lee de Haan's Great Skate fundraising page, an effort by Lee (and Phil) to raise a little money for the Griffins Youth Foundation. Please consider supporting hockey for low-income and under-represented kids by sponsoring Lee's participation in the Great Skate. No donation is too small, as each dollar provides 10 minutes of ice time for one of the foundation’s players.

Each year the Griffins Youth Foundation provides opportunities for 300-plus kids -- boys and girls who would generally not be able to play hockey without the support of the foundation.  Phil got involved in the program a few years back as a coach. Lee is in his fourth year as a player.

All of the ice time is covered via fundraising, all of the equipment for the kids is donated, and every week parents chip in to coach, run concessions, referee, keep time and more -- basically to do whatever it takes to make the great game of hockey available to children who otherwise would not have a shot at it.
