Join PhilaPets as we raise money to save Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals. The Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a no-kill rescue organization dedicated to saving the most vulnerable animals in the City's animal control shelter. It is Philadelphia's largest rescue partner and is working to make the city a place in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.

On Saturday, October 31, Team PhilaPets will participate in the 3rd Annual PAWS Mutt Strut, which will bring animal lovers and their pets together for a 1.5-mile scenic walk through FDR Park. We will raise badly needed funds for PAWS' lifesaving programs including adoption, foster care, spay/neuter surgery, and veterinary care. We will also raise awareness of the harsh reality that thousands of healthy and treatable animals are killed in Philadelphia each year, simply because they do not have homes.

Our goal is to be the #1 fundraising team this year.  Help us raise $5,000 for PAWS.  We know we can do this and with all your help we wiil.

How can you help?

* Join us on the walk.  You can join us on the walk for as little as $25.  Team PhilaPets.com t-shirts to all participants who raise more than $100.

* Have your dog come too!  This is a mutt strut, so let's get your four-legged family members involved too.  Don't have a mutt to strut? Consider walking one of the many pups available for adoption so that they can show themselves off and find their new forever home!
