Philly Bike Ride for Pain Relief's Fundraising Page
"Enduring a little pain, so others can be pain-free!"
Thanks to everyone who participated and supported the 3rd Annual Philly Bike-Walk-Roll for Pain Relief on 9/11. We had 67 bikers, walkers and rollers full of enthusiasm and hope. You're welcome to still contribute here on our fundraising page.
This event benefited RSDSA, an organization working to help patients with CRPS. CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, also called RSD), is a neurological disease with severe, relentless pain, affecting between 200,000 and 1.2 million Americans. Many of our participants are personally affected by CRPS - participating in honor of a loved one, working with patients with CRPS, or having CRPS themselves.
This is a fundraising page for all participants. You can sponsor a specific participant on this page or make a general donation to support the day. To sponsor someone specific, there's a space to write whom your donation is for, for example, "Good Luck, Sarah."
Any donation amount is appreciated, especially an amount representing our event distances, which are 18 miles for bike riders (donations of $18, $36, even $180) and 2.5 miles for walkers and wheelchair participants (donations of $2.50, $25, even $250).
Thanks so much!
